Why should we consider adoption at all to become parents?
Parenthood is parenthood. No matter whether achieved through adoption or biological processes. Adoption is another viable alternative to parenthood.

For childless couples is infertility treatment not a solution?
Yes it is. However couples have to draw a line & fix limits on expenses & time spent. The desire to have a biological child is normally so high that they do not mind spending time and money on infertility treatments endlessly even when the chances are very very low.

Why should not we consider adoption after all other options to have a biological child have been tried.
Couples need to plan their family well ahead. A time limit should be set for other options and adoption should be considered as early as possible. By deciding early we can ensure that the child gets parents, not grandparents!

My husband and I discuss about adoption only when no one else is around. Is it the same with everyone considering adoption.
Of late, attitudinal changes in the society are aiding open acceptance of adoption. Adoption is no longer a hush-hush topic, especially in Bangalore.

Some of the prospective parents stay confused. Why?
